Okay, I needs some help on defeating Chac in Bevelle. Can someone tell me a good stratagy. Problem is I don't have a real lot of garment grids, or accessories, and i don't have the samarri (sp?) dressphere. Can someone help?

Chac is the basalisk type isn't he? Get him into oversoul and he wont' use his super tough attacks.
That or that was the boss before/after him.
how do you get him into oversoul mode?
to get into oversoul mode you need to fight fiends of the same type. you can find these at mushroom rock. When you kill enough one will oversoul, dont kill this one or you will have to oversoul it again. go fight chac and it will be oversouled

That or you're lost, I guess... Delay Buster + Sword Tome is pretty decent here if you don't want (or you're too lazy) to oversoul Chac.

ive heard one strategy that will work if youre at a high enough level
change all your girls to theifs and you just continually attack every time you hit chac youll delay his turn and if you have 3 girls doing it hell never get a turn in youll probably need auto haste to pull it off if it dosent work get higher levels

You will have to be extremely quick when it comes to de-petrification.
But yeah, that's really the only chance you have at winning that battle without Catnip.
I'm sure that anacacia has figured it out by now.
