It's been out in Australian arcades for almost a year![]()
The game looks a lot darker (except that crazy PINK arena). So desired effect achieved for Namco. xD
Lili is mid-top tier, I reckon. I don't have any other people's opinions to back me on this because I've noticed she's not a very safe character and get very easily punished. Her mix-ups are godly though and her juggles seem to do more than what we would call decent damage.
Dragunov is up there as well. But I haven't a clue as to how to play him. From what I've seen, it's kinda like a mix of Marduk and Bryan. Marduks awesome evasive ability + Bryans uber jabbing which gives plus frames.
No one here plays Armor King xD. Except for this one guy who bought a card and renamed him Armour King. He's pretty sucky though.
Other than that, I only really know that the physics engine is still more or less the same. Most characters will find that they can still pull off most of the same strats when it comes to juggles or stuns or mixups. Take a look at the frame data to be sure but generally, all the old characters have just been given a little makeover. Nothing drastic at all.
My Lee game got pretty owned though4,3,4 against the wall used to change a 30-ish damage juggle to a 70+ but in DR, the move usually comes out off axis and whiffs completely. Just a little change in my game. I use 2,1,1 on the walls now and that's pretty much the only change I've needed to make to my strat.
