I think most of you know gamefaqs are doing a best series poll at the mo. To me, i reckon that the title should go to the FF series but i was wondering if ya'll agreed wit me. make your vote count and your voice be heard!!!

Other prestigious series such as Street Fighter, Super Mario Bros., Mega Man, Silent Hill and Castlevania would certainly give it a run for its money if not beat it outright.

Of all video games? Of course not. Of all RPGs? Eh, it's up there. No series can claim to be the 'absolute best' of all.

The thing about it is this; Although it's mainstream now, I don't think the rest of the game community has picked up more than one game in the series, and that one (or none) of them they played, they didn't neccessarily fall in love with. That's the problem with this entire Best.Game.Ever thing. I personally would vote for FF, but unless we get all the FF players, then no, it won't win, there's just too many other non-FF fans out there.

Final Fantasy is probably the best series when it comes to storyline and great music, but in terms of gameplay I've seen better.
Final Fantasy is definately up there, I'd rank Street Fighter and Tekken above it though....
If Crash was right and Disgaea and Makai Kingdom really were in the same series, and Disgaea 2 turns out half as good the first than the Disgaea series wins best RPG for me.
DQ owns FF saleswise in Japan, and Advance Wars, Mario, Megaman, etc. are better game series too.

well against most peoples thoughts, mega man just lost to final fantasy. dunno what the scoreline was. its gotta take on either street fighter or resident evil next. can it go all the way...?
