Do you laugh when an innocent character dies?
Do you smile when the atagonist gets his way?
Do you consider it a tragedy if the hero kills the villain?

No.
No.
No.
However, I find antiheroes to be quite interesting.

Kel loves villains! I do I do I doohoooo!!
^You win.
And yes, villains are very awesome. I've dreamed of one day playing an RPG where the villain actually does destroy the world. (And actually destroy it, not destroy it in the sense of ruining it like Kefka.)
Better yet, all existence. *drool*
I always end up feeling sorry for the villains and wanting them to win.
If he is an interesting villian, than I will probably fall into liking him more than the hero, even if I am constantly battling this admired villian.
...
maybe more like a semi-villain or secondary villain. someone sleak, mischievous, and sly - but not actually "evil". someone like Waluigi (Mario Kart: Double Dash). Bob-ombs could really throw someone into last place or knock them right into frozen water...
As long as it's this guy.

Villians are usually the better of the characters. To me, it all depends on who is the antagonist, or whoever is less wrong in the story. Usually winds up being the heroes, but some villians are just plain cool.
Illidan Stormrage
Luxord
Kefka
That's about it...
No, I don't like villians because they enjoy hurting people and I don't like seeing people get hurt.
Thank You Polaris for this neat sig!
