Here is the absolute truth upon the death of our beloved character Aeris so we can all stop asking questions like: Why'd Aeris have to die? And such. And so it goes like this:
Question: Why did Aeris die?
Answer: The main director of Final Fantasy 7 lost his mother just a few years before the creation of this video game. He was so saddened and upset he wanted to share his utter pain with the world, the gaming world. So, he created FF7. In an interview, he said he was so sad he would base his next game on the theme of life and death. In the creation of the game, he set it up so people would get close to a sweet girl named Aeris. As well, in the creation of this game, he created a heartless evil villain named Sephiroth. Halfway through the game, Aeris is killed by Sephiroth. In the most dramatic and saddening 1st sequence, battle, and second sequence, along with the cinematics, we witness what has been voted, by gamers around the world, as the saddest cinema ever showed in video games. In the scene Aeris prays innocently to the planet while Sephiroth drives a sword through her back. After facing the boss, Jenova LIFE, we watch her burial, where she sinks to the bottom of the Forgotten City's lake, as well as we hear her ultimately saddening theme song. In the end, Aeris was there. She was always there to support the team. She had never left. So, in the end, Aeris was killed in cold blood by the game's director, not completely by Sephiroth
