Yeah. You can't leave the the area, and you can't get hit with lightning once. So basically, you can just stand around in the same place forever, and just dodge 200 times.

you can move between the south and north screens as long as you don't step outside the thunder plains and you don't enter the travel agency screen.

Basically, your dodge counter will reset if you do any of these things:

Get hit by lightning
Walk too close to the lightning towers
Save
Or travel to a new screen
