RHCP calls U2 sell-outs

U2 sold their soul to Apple a while ago and is the epitome of a sell-out now. I hate U2 wish a passion and I'm glad that someone called them on it, but I wish it was someone other than RHCP, which many argue have sold-out as well. I have a feeling that RHCP made the claim in a "You're a bigger sell-out then we are" manner.
This is not the first time U2 have been called sell-outs. Sinéad O'Connor accused them of the same thing ten years ago, and apparently, many others have called them the exact same thing.
U2 is not a very popular band inside of the music industry.
Thats news to me about Black Eyed Peas. I knew about U2 selling to Apple, not BEP.
U2? Smurf, if I were to call them out on something, it'd be Bono's charity whoring for free publicity.

It would have been better if they'd called them a pile of crap.
I have been calling U2 sell-outs for a long time. Seeing that somebody famous—somebody famous that I actually have heard of—is a comforting to me. Because, you know. I'm a slut for fame.
As far as RHCP selling out and making claim to "You're a bigger sell-out then we are"; yeah, I'd say so. But they're right. RHCP is far from the plateau of sell-outage that U2 is on. I mean I'm not too educated on the subject I am just making this up from things I've heard. But U2 really does seem like the cover girl for selling-out.
Even if it is just like the "that kid has more snot on his face than I do" argument.

To reiterate: the news of somebody who is "somebody" calling U2 sell-outs has made my day. Before you snaggle me up remember that's just me. I've never heard of Sinéad O'Connor. Not that anyone tells me stuff, anyway. This is the most news I'll ever get.
Plus RHCP makes better music than U2.

I dislike the criticism bands get for "selling out", since a lot of it is unjustified whining. But if ever a band did sell out, it's U2.

I hate people who whine about so-and-so selling out. They're in the business to make money. No one with any ambition would make music for pennies just because they love the music. If I had an opportunity to make lots of money without hurting anyone, then I'd do it. U2 isn't hurting anyone. I don't really give a hoot whether they have a special Ipod dedicated to them. It really doesn't matter to me.
I feel exactly the same way.
They made the music, and they have a right to do whatever the heck they want with it. If they want to sell it to a big corporation like Apple to make ads with, more power to them. I'd kill to be able to do that. Well, not really.
Also, zomg, RHCP sold their soul to Saban and 20th Century Fox! They allowed "Higher Ground" to be played in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie. What <i>sell-outs</i>.
