    Default Are their any optional characters in this game like in FFVII?

    I was looking 4 Umaro and can't find him, then I was thinking about how to get Relm, and Gogo. So are any of these characters optional. How do u get these characters." :fencing: :shoot: :bigbiggri :meatwad: :nibbles: :mario: :luigi: :magus: :sophia:

    Umaro and Gogo are "true" optional characters as you never have to meet them at any point in the game.

    Technically though, everyone other than Celes, Edgar and Setzer could be considered optional, as those are the only three characters that you have to have in the WoR to beat the game.

    every character excpet setzer, sabin and celes are optional in the world of ruin

    Gogo and Umaro are considered the "secret" characters. But actually after the WoR, every character is optional except for Celes, Edgar(not Sabin, he is optional), and Setzer

    Mog is semi-optional, I suppose. You never need to get him for keeps in the World of Balance. Just for a few minutes near the beginning.

    Beating the game with just the three primaries in the WoR creates by far the better ending scenes

    The ghost is also a secret and optional character.

    You can re-recruit Mog by not taking the Gold Hairpin from the pickpocket guy. (In the WoB.)
