Worst. Ads. Ever
Vaan - "Hey, you!"
Penelo - "Yeah, you! The one reading this sig at this very moment!"
Vaan - "Interested in playing FFXII International Zodiac Job system?"
Ashe - "But you have no knowledge of the Japanese language?"
Fran - "....We could help...."
Balthier - "That's right, Fran! Just click on Crossblades' thread on the very bottom of this signature and it will show you all license grid translations, magicks and tecks locations, and other changes that were made!"
Basch - "Don't forget though. Swap Magic is needed to play this game if you don't own a japanese PS2."
Vaan - "Also remember that if you played the original, you'll have an easier time playing the international version. We hope you enjoy the International Zodiac Job System experience. See ya then!"

There was another one I remember seeing involving an actual picture of a brain.
I think the caption was something like "It's like a lube job and oil change for your brain"
I've seen worse ads. Frankly all game ads in comic books sucked back then though. At least every ad I ever saw. Keep in mind that gaming was still relatively small then and therefore games didn't command quite the marketing budgets a big name title would now. I'd say crap like that was likely a classic case of "you get what you pay for."Originally Posted by Crossblades
Wow. These are just ridiculous! I like the ads some of the newer games have. I also love watching Japanese commercials for video games. Those commercials are probably some of the most creative commercials I've ever seen!
