Female Vocals: Mariah Carey when she doesn't hurt my ears with her piercing high notes and Whitney Houston when she wasn't using drugs.
Male Vocals: Freddie Mercury and Elvis when he was still alive. Also, many others that aren't really famous.

David Gilmour - Pink Floyd
He's always had a great voice and I think it has perhaps gotten even better with age. Eg: 'What Do You Want From Me'. Coupled with his guitaring, he is one the most talented musicians ever.
Roger Waters - Pink Floyd
I love the way Waters sings.....I can't explain it, it's just awsome and contrasts so well with Gilmour, especially in songs such as 'Comfortably Numb' and 'Mother'.
Brandon Boyd - Incubus
This guy is amazing where vocals are concerned. He can doing almost everything. High pitch, low pitch, screaming, whatever. S.C.I.E.N.C.E. and 'A Crow Left of the Murder' albums show off his singing capabilities the most.
Anthony Keidis - Red Hot Chili Peppers
Anthony has a voice that can also hit many different tones and pitches and is capable of going from a funky rap to a melodic type vocal. 'Around the World' and 'Venice Queen' display these qualities well.
I like others, but these guys are my favorites
#1) Maynard James Keenan. Amazing range, and can sing countless different styles.
#2) Amy Lee. Also, very nice range, and just has a really impressive voice.

Crap! Can't freakin' believe I forgot Maynard. One of my favorite singers of all time and I forgot him lol. Actually listening to "Orestes" right now. Yeah, he is def. one of the best singers imo.
Lauri Ylönen, Jyrki69, (I don't know his second name. I even went on their official site and all I got was 'Jyrki69')
Heinie, (Man whats with Finnish people and hiding their second names?)
Jonne Aaron, Liv Kristine Espenæs Krull, Tarja Turunen, Björk, Amy Lee and Sharon den Adel.
Anthony Keidis, Mark Hoppus, Mariah Carey and Amy Lee
Uhhhhh.. I have quite a bit.
Favourites: Feist, Owen Pallett, Björk, Sufjan Stevens.
Other good singers: Joanna Newsom, Laura Barrett, Julie Doiron, Reg Vermue, Panda Bear, Kria Brekken, Lizzi Bougatsos, Kat Burns, Seabear, Lederhosen Lucil/Krista Muir, Sandro Perri.
Frank Sinatra, Jim Morrison, Andrea Bocelli, Norah Jones and Ella Fitzgerald.
Take care all.
Howard Jones is my favourite singer around atm, Bruce Dickinson is also a god.
Freddie Mercury best frontman of any band ever, though.

The lead singers of all my favourite bands
Its often the vocalist that gives songs the awesomeness they have, hence why a lot bands just suck, because the vocalist cant sing xD
Anyway, im gonna have to go with the leads of Metallica, NIN, The Rasmus, Muse and Coldplay.
