I would have to say the ghost in the shell: SAC (both seasons) intro's and closings were really good. FMA was pretty good to honestly
The Friends opening has always been a favourite of mine. I also think that the Buffy and Angel openings are great, and who can forget the Simpson opening
Family Guy holds the best opening. As for closing....I really haven't seen any shows with good closings.

100% True. But the ending themes usually aren't that good.
The opening theme to Shakugan No Shana is my favourite by far

As for endings...any family guy/simpsons episode that has things going on behind the credits. :}
Openings: Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, Babylon 5, and House.
Closings: No idea, because the TV cuts to half-screen and has "This is coming up next" over the music, and I skip the credits on DVDs.

The Buffy one is good and as my mind has gone utterly blank, I can't think of any others.
Oh wait. Spongebob is godly.And Fresh Prince of Bel Air is pretty awesome.
