[Incinerator]

I have an idea for ff14, it combines loads of ideas from afew different ffs(1,6,9,10) Here's the characters.


Ruby
Age: 14
Job: White Mage
Weapon: Guns
Guardian: Carbuncle

Ruby is a carefree young girl who became a White Mage while staying in Kuja’s Dungeon. She was kidnapped at 3 and is trying to find her parents. Her Trance allows her to heal all her parties HP to full and Summon Carbuncle without a full Guardian Bar.

Felix
Age: 14
Job: Dragon Mage
Weapon: Lances
Guardian: Leviathan

Felix is a quiet boy, he is very protective of Ruby and treats her like a sister. They grew up together in Kuja’s Dungeon and knows that he’s a chosen one, but fails in trying to tell Ruby that she’s one too. He uses Dragon Magic. His icy trance allows him to use a Dragon Magic Spell called Behemoth Rage.

Sarah
Age: 13
Job: Summoner
Weapon: Rods
Guardian: Ifrit

Sarah is one of the two that helped Ruby and Felix out of Kuja’s Dungeon. She’s hot-headed but once she’s talking to Felix she fine. She has a clouded past but is very powerful and waits until late in the game to release it. Her fiery trance allows her to use Magicite as much as she wants.

Cole
Age: 13
Job: Knight
Weapon: Sword
Guardian: Odin

Cole is Ruby’s younger brother, although they both don’t know it they feel that they’ve known each other. He is a very dedicated Warrior who can handle any blade. His story is summed up in one word, clouded, his past is revealed to him later in the game. His trance allows him to do double his normal damage AND break the damage limit.

Marlin
Age: 15
Job: Black Mage
Weapon: Mace
Guardian: Shiva

Marlin is a Black Mage controlled by Kuja, he is quiet and Felix looks up to him a lot. His relatively high battle attack and very high powered magic skills make him a dazzling opponent. His trance allows him to use a move called Neutron Ring.

Karla
Age: 14
Job: Ninja
Weapon: Shuriken
Guardian: Yojimbo

Karla may look like a boy, but if you call her that she’d break your arm. She’s got a short fuse and is scary when angry, she can perform various tricks that help her beat the opponents quickly. Her trance allows her to use a few Ninja Skills.

I just like doing characters, do you like them?

This is extremely... erm... unlikely. I doubt they would even think about using WS sprites and stuff for a probably PS3 game.

I was thinking that too. I think you should have at least one character who's clearly older than the rest.

Names are definitely too common.Square usually gives character names that are much more complictaed yet has a meaning of it's own.
