Yes, definitely use a different system next year. I'll defer the decision to someone else... I check once a week after the games to see who's catching up on me, and I have a bit more in-depth look in deciding who to transfer at the beginning of the month.

It seems to be working pretty well for me so far. Obviously knowing a bit of the ins and outs of the way this fantasy football league works is as important as football knowledge itself, but I imaging that would be the same regardless of which system we used.

As I said earlier on, we just need a league where you can do more. If you have one transfer per month, yes, it's going to be boring and annoying. If you can make three transfers in a week or two, it's much more interesting. If we can find the right fantasy system, then I'll be happy with that. I'd just like to find a middle ground between the one we have now and last year's Yahoo system, where in order to be competitive you basically had to build your team from scratch every week. Anyway, so long as we're not using this version again next year then I'll be happy. After all, if we're already talking about next season's competition with half the season still to go, I'd say that's pretty indicative of the quality of this system.

I've tried 3-4 systems this year - not Yahoo! - and I'd say Metro Fantasy Football is the best.

Admittedly I've <i>sucked</i> at it so far this season, but it's been interesting either way.

Before the start of the season, you can make unlimited changes to your team. However, once the season is in progress, you can make up to three transfers within each individual transfer window but have a maximum of 50 transfers across the whole season. Remember the total cost of your team at any stage during the Game cannot exceed £55million.

And finally, on the official Premiership site, Daniel Agger's nose? is #1! I picked McCarthy and Berbatov as my strikers on there so I am not surprised.
