The first 150 were cool, Pokemon Blue and Red were every kids life, and the TV show with Ash, Brock and Misty which was on really early was also awesome. And dont forget Pokemon cards, which no one played, just collected.

Somehow, it all got butchered, they created more Pokemon, which were all terribly designed, and frankly, not very intresting. The TV show went nowhere and lost intrest in alot of kids, I dont think they play Pokemon in the UK anymore. And the cards were banned everywhere, and people lost intrest once they had bought 1000 packets of Pokemon cards to find one friggin card, leaving them with hundreds of the same Pokemon card. And the games all went samey, the next Pokemon game would be almost exact to the one before, with 2-3 more Pokemon added.

Still, when Pokemon was awesome, it was probably the greatest thing to come from Japan, it got kids into anime, seeing as Pokemon was probably the only anime kids were watching when it was on.
