    Default Remedi

Well, I normally have few problems with the last battle of the game, but I keep getting defeated repeatedly by Remedi in her Li-Grim form. My units are around Level 23 to 26, and I'm equipping them with the most powerful nonelemental weapons they can have. But I keep getting destroyed by Remedi in the first turn, because she uses Descent, which sends out Mateus/Adrammelech, which KO's my entire party except my Defender. Then the Mateus' finish him off with Star Cross before he can do anything. Is there any good way to counter this?

The easiest way to prevent an instant kill like that is by equipping your entire team with Damage>MP. Hopefully you'll be able to survive Star Cross if you can live through the Descent. Unfortunately, you will have no MP left if you use that strategy. My strategy in this fight was to have my Assassins equipped with Gastra bows and Dash Boots/Ninja Tabi and just Ultima Masher Remedi to death before she could do anything. High Speed is awesome in this game.
My friend Delzethin is currently running a GoFundMe account to pay for some extended medical troubles he's had. He's had chronic issues and lifetime troubles that have really crippled his career opportunities, and he's trying to get enough funding to get back to a stable medical situation. If you like his content, please support his GoFundMe, or even just contribute to his Patreon.

He can really use a hand with this, and any support you can offer is appreciated.

Funny, I had no problem with her totema summons, but using star cross she kills everyone EXCEPT my Dragoon, which I use to finish her off.

Angel ring on your summoner with phoenix is awesome. When she hit me with one of her moves all but 2 were down.

My bishop and someone else (I think juggler)
Bishop had items on (laws) so after phoenix down on my summoner she was phoenixing. Bishop then used his auto-life after a direct hit. Then everyone was up and was taking her down. She never used another ultimate attack again.

How many swords could sword chucks chuck if sword chucks could chuck swords? Same goes with Nuns! :rolleyes2

"I can steal stuff that isn't even there" -Thief (Yet he can't steal in the game)

yeah my defender was the only left too (Love expert gaurd in those missions.) this was a suprise twist since he was my weakest party member. but he came back and killed remedi with my sweet eclipse.

just focus on remedi the entire mission. try long range combos.

Higher levels. I had a prty of 30-33s, have the B.Mage with Angel Ring and my Time/White Mage with Auto-Life and Quicken, plus a Summoner with Pheonix.

I used a blue-mage/knight/dragoon combo on her and killed her 1 shot, but to do that I just sorta used 2 jugglers to get my people their turns faster and then triggered it with the knight when the dragoon was 2 panels away and the blue mage was like 4 panels away.
