The below sentence is true.
The above sentence is false.
Sometimes when the japanese lines are translated the words are somewhat changed to make more sense, but occasionaly some lines are harder to translate. Or maybe they just made a mistake on accident.
Everything in parentheses is (not) important.
It's just a flaw in the translation. FFVII has several of those, unfortunately.
Or it's just a mistake by squaresoft

In FFX there's a kid running around in Kilika saying "I wanna be a blitzball when I grow up!!"
But you probably knew that.
If I recall correctly, the PC version corrected that grammatical error. I think it just says 'This guy is sick' But don't quote me on that.
