Super Smash Bros. Brawl Character List

I've been thinking quite a lot lately when I've been on the Nintendo Forums on the Super Smash Bros. board about what would be in the game, what wouldn't, etc. After a lot of thinking, I came up with a list of 50 characters that I believe have good chances (and are good ideas) of making it in. Here it is:

1. Mario (with Dr. Mario as an alternate costume, which gives him the same abilities that the Doc has in Melee) (confirmed)

Plus some FF characters from the Nintendo titles, prefereably NPCs. Play as Paul from FF2

Maybe some Tales characters from Phantasia and Symphonia..

Megaman is by Capcom, and Golden Sun is by Camelot, if I'm not mistaken.

Nice list. Definitely getting this title for the Wii.

Edit: Why oh why can't Mikey from Star Tropics be in an SSB game? He's too similar to Ness? Ah well, Ness is good enough.

When I made this list, for each character, I asked myself these questions?

1. Are they popular?
2. Are they in good quality games?
3. Have they been on a Nintendo console?
4. Do they have a realistic chance of getting in?
5. Would they fit into Smash Bros. well?

I feel everybody on my list has these qualities. It's difficult for me to satisfy everybody by limiting it to only 50 characters, but as Aesop once said: "If you try to please everybody, you'll end up pleasing nobody."
