Shmooth Sailing is an accessory that does the following:
Auto Abilities: Defense +30 Magic Defense +30
Super Ribbon
Protection from the following abnormalities in status:
Stone, Sleep, Silence, Darkness, Poison, Confuse, Berserk, Curse, AP & EXP 0, Itchy, Slow, Stop, Death Sentence, and Instant Death.
However, when in battle, the character equipping this will be in a constant slow status. Accessories/items like ribbons and remedy and such will not prevent the abnormal status.

Can you get more then one, or is that the only way you can get such an item?

You can get one per game, through traditional sequences. I think that there are no other ways to get the Accessory, but do not wish to find it if such a way to get a second if it exists.
You can get 1k+ by rapidly mashing ALL of the buttons repeatedly, despite when they appear on screen, and the game still gives you points even if both the timing and button are incorrect. If you mash all four at once multiple times per second, you will likely hit the correct buttons, which does not drain your gain, nor subtract from your score.
It not a glitch, so I can't be called a cheater for doing as such. Another one of the difficulty problems posed by the game that I was not happy with. Consequences are consequences, and you shouldn't need to sugarcoat it or cover it up.

A Speed Bracer however will cancel that out and put you in Haste.
I've also gotten like 3000ish. Just button mash when it tells you to press a certain button.
I got like 1174 points... Tavrobel is like a monster in this mini-game =P
Shmooth Shailling (whatever...) is like a Ribbon, but it boost some of your status and because it's Hypello, you get Slow status...

Just mash whatever button is on the screen. you don't loose points, only gain different amounts.
