    I think he means:

    *bad voiceover voice*
At the start of the game Garnet can't use her summons, unless you spend ages levelling her up, and even then you can only use a few. This is annoying for me. What do you think?

Or I could be wrong. I doubt it though *stretches impressively*

Lol. A very good attempt anyway. That's a question I've asked myself (momentarily): "I wonder how long it would take to level up so that I can use summons before Garnet's gems are taken." Then I think: "screw that!"

I think Garnet can summon before the extraction once she's reached Lv16. Before that she won't have enough MP.

I dont think i even have her to 16 yet, and i just reached the black mage village on Disc 2. I'm on my 6th file, and frankly, i find her eidelons pretty useless. I rarely used them in previous files, and i'm not even bothering to teach her any this file...except probably bahamut, cuz i always teach her Bahamut, cuz he's cool. <.<

Wow, so you can actually use her Eidolons before they're extracted from her? I always thought the ridiculously high MP costs were there for storyline purposes, to show that she had all the Eidolons inside her, but she wasn't ready to use them yet.

I've just noticed something. Zorn and Thorn say you shouldn't extract eidolon until the subject is 16 years of age. Garnet can't use her eidolons until she's Lv16. Coincidence?

I think what you always thought is right. Although it is possible to use them beforehand, it's not practical...

It's part of the plot that she only acquires them later. Your obviously not MEANT to be allowed to use them. So don't be annoyed. That's like saying..
