If Power Metal can have it's own thread then so can Thrash and other sub genres of metal. If you want to be specific then here's some ideas: Favourite Bands, Songs, Albums, Musicians, Concerts. Just don't go flaming people over nothing, hell don't even flame at all.
Ok here we go.
My favourite Bands of Thrash Have to be Metallica (OBVIOUSLY!), Anthrax and Slayer, there are others but I cannot remember their names or song names (not including Megadeth, sorry Arucard).
I like Metallica most of all because there's barely anything from them I don't have any sort of liking to, they got me into Metal itself when I was watching AMVs. My favourite songs of their's... Sorry but I gotta make a list =D.
Creeping Death, Aint My Bitch, King Nothing, Until It Sleeps, Bleeding Me, Master of Puppets, Disposable Heroes, Damage Inc, Orion, Leper Messiah, Battery, Blackened, Shortest Straw, Harvester of Sorrow, Call of Ktulu, To Live Is To Die, Dyers Eve, Fade To Black, Fight Fire With Fire, Ride The Lightning, - Human, No Leaf Clover, Sanitarium, Whiplash, Whiskey In The Jar, No Remorse, The Four Horsemen, One, Jump In The Fire, For Whom The Bell Tolls, Anesthesia, Seek and Destroy and Hunger.
From Slayer: Hell Awaits, War Ensemble, Black Magic, Angel of Death, Post-Mortem, Raining Blood, The Antichrist and Screaming From The Sky.
From Anthrax: Indians, What Doesn't Die, Armed and Dangerous, Madhouse, Antisocial and that's it. All The other songs are bits and bobs from other bands or I cannot remember their name.
Albums: From Metallica: Master of Puppets, ...And Justice For All, Load, Ride The Lightning and Kill 'Em All.
From Anthrax: Spreading the Disease and I think the other one's called "we're coming for you" or something.
From Slayer: Hell Awaits and Raining Blood.
Concerts: I've only seen full concerts from Metallica (sorry if I sound totally biased, don't hurt me, I'm too young to die. =/) Which are Woodstock 99, San Diego 89/92, Rock Am Ring 2003/2006, Cunning Stunts, and I like a hell load of bits from the Madly in Anger tour and Woodstock 94, others maybe added later if I can bother remembering. Edit: DAMMIT I FORGOT S&M
Think of your own reasons, don't steal (what little I have) mine, =D. You can also say which Thrash songs you like to put on when you're thrashing down the motor/freeway. Oh yeah, I was about to hit the post button and my fricking power went out and I had to type all of this again from scratch, I think it's bigger, badder and sexier then before though. Ok now, Ladies and Gentlemen, let the show begin!! (*sheep noises*)
