Default Front Mission 1st for the DS detailed

    http://www.allrpg.com/rpgnews/news_show.php?newsid=2886

Square-Enix continues to show its heavy support for the Nintendo DS, as this week's Famitsu reveals a strategy RPG for the DS, titled Front Mission 1st.

This game will be a sort of remake of the original Front Mission released for the Super Famicom, but will add some interesting new features. The battle scenes will be in 3D, there will be more scenarios, and players can take the fight to others around the world with the Nintendo DS Wi-Fi connection.

No release date has been announced for Front Mission 1st. Updates will be made when available.

    Vaan - "Hey, you!"
Penelo - "Yeah, you! The one reading this sig at this very moment!"
Vaan - "Interested in playing FFXII International Zodiac Job system?"
Ashe - "But you have no knowledge of the Japanese language?"
    Fran - "....We could help...."
Balthier - "That's right, Fran! Just click on Crossblades' thread on the very bottom of this signature and it will show you all license grid translations, magicks and tecks locations, and other changes that were made!"
Basch - "Don't forget though. Swap Magic is needed to play this game if you don't own a japanese PS2."
Vaan - "Also remember that if you played the original, you'll have an easier time playing the international version. We hope you enjoy the International Zodiac Job System experience. See ya then!"

I wonder if it'll include all the added features from the PlayStation version. And whether it'll be released Stateside, of course.

The wi-fi playability makes it worth the price of admission alone.
