The next bond is looking pretty good by the looks of things, people were being so negative about Daniel Craig being the next bond but I think he looks really good, just by the trailer. Casino Royale looks like its going back to dark and gritty bond, which is good in my opinion. The last couple of bonds have been a bit flashy and cheesy.
The film is being released on 17th November, and Ill be watching it the day its released...

The original '60s one was supposed to be based off the Ian Fleming novel, I believe, and just took a different spin on it from the normal Bond films - going for a parody rather than being a straight Bond flick.

So this is based off the novel in a stricter sense than that one was. There's more info in the trivia section to give the specifics about it.

I'm excited to go see it. The trailer looks good and I think Daniel Craig will be a great Bond, although he's blond - I think he'll be able to give the Bond role some new dimensions and make him more interesting and possibly darker. Craig is really a talented actor.

I'm so excited for this movie! I've been waiting for a new Bond film for 4 years now! Hopefully, Daniel will live up to Peirce's preformance as James Bond. I'm also glad this film is staying a little more realistic and closer to the novels since Die Another Day was just too out there.

I have seen a trailer for it and came away very dissappointed. It looked like way too much action and crap like the last few. That is fine for a Bond film every now and then but they seem to be moving in that direction a bit too much instead of good spy thrilling plots.

We shall see and I am sure I shall still see it...but if it is this kind of action pack then I am forbidden to see the next one unless it gets incredibly good ratings across the board. You have to take a stand and send them a message.
