K, I woke up from a dream about what you AmeriCanadians call either Pop or Soda. 3am. Never mind the dream. Text message from Emma, no worries. Replied. I'm sure she didn't get the reply, for some reason, my texts only work half the time.

Five minutes later, I get a call on the phone, and quickly checked who it was - unknown international caller. What the hell is Emma ringing me for?

Me: "Hello?"
Mum: "Hi Daniel!"
Me, thinking: Not Emma... but... what the hell is Mum ringing my mobile for?
Me: "Hey Mum..."
Mum, interrupting: Daniel, have you heard the news?
Me: What? It's 3am...
Mum: It's big. *explains rather quickly* I only have a small amount of money left on my phone, so I have to go now.
Me: Ok... I love you Mummy.
Mum: Mummy Mummy?
Me, rolling eyes: I LOVE YOU MUMMY.
Mum: Oh! I love you too Daniel... bye!
Me: Bye.
*click*

So many thoughts, after I checked the radio (news station). Note, these thoughts lasted all morning until now. (10:44am)

What if that happened to Emma? Is that why she didn't reply, coz she's scared about this stuff, and is watching it? Jeez...

EDIT: Not NATO? Ah, k. Never mind the following then:
NATO needs to be a little less quick to the mark. Sure, some person FROM there might've done something. But... did everyone in the capital over there deserve to be killed? What happens when NATO (could) find out that it was someone from Iraq, or even Israel? That person won't be too hot with it.

Then again... NATO probably has some kind of reason that we don't know about, eh? But still... 90% sure is not enough to take millions of lives. That's just as low as the terrorists.

What is a terrorist? Someone who causes terror. I reckon a lot of Afghanistans will be terrified by NATO right now. Makes you think, don't it?

If they did it, why would they lie?
They could fight back against America in a war, it's not like they're so afraid that they'll pay people to kill the US off bit by bit and say it was terrorist action.

I really don't know what to say about this. I really don't. It's too much. I'm trying to maintain an optimistic attitude but it's not really helping. I...don't know. Maybe I'll reply with something sensible or intelligent or relevant later, but right now I can't. I just can't.

Reno, America alone has more than 2000 nuclear warheads. Would you want to screw with America? Would you openly admit your position in the terrorist attack, knowing full damn well that we would retaliate!? I wouldn't. It would be a waste of human lives. Then again, whoever attacked us wasted our lives, so smurf them and let's blow 'em all away. God bless.

PS: It doesn't matter which faction of a country attacks us, they are members of that nation. That nation is viewed as a nation made up by its people, factions or no factions, and that faction attacked. That faction and the place that spawned them should pay. We shouldn't take the time to look at the nation and perform surgery on it looking for the small group that did it! Take them all out! We shouldn't risk running into this situation again!

If what you think is true, then all Americans should be destroyed for things that they have done against other countries, right? And let's not forget Germany. Italians, Israelites, many African nations, a few South-Eastern countries to top the lot off... every country has a stupid person, really. Let's just wipe out the human race? Nuh uh.

The people were going against their own countries laws... that, to me, means that they aren't really working on behalf of their nation.

I'm looking at this in the sense that our military has been squandered. We've tried pacifism. It failed! FAILED! We try to negotiate, we get bombed. We sign Geneva, it fail! WE CANNOT FIGHT BACK BECAUSE WE SIGNED A TREATY SAYING THAT ANY MEASURE WE TAKE MUST ABIDE BY RULES! America is weak in that sense! I am saying that we need to show people not to mess with us. We have to show people that we are not to be messed with. The treaty should be broken, and we should fight however it takes!

I'm not looking at this one sided. Remember when I said "pacifism is good to an extent?" It's ok to negotiate over small things, like minor anarchy, stuff like that. BUT WHEN AMERICAN LIVES ARE TAKEN, MEASURES MUST BE TAKEN! Reagan once said "They threatened two of our planes? Send our planes and tell them to not come back until we've taken four of theirs." THAT, people, THAT IS THE WAY OUR MILITARY SHOULD WORK!
