It has nothing to do with subverting Peanuts characters for me. The artwork itself is simply of very poor quality, to the extent that it got to me to see a bunch of people unanimously singing its praises.
I'd like to see you draw all of that. So it may look like americanized manga, the colouring itself is very good. If some random person at EoFF said, hey, look at my drawing, and it looked the exact same way, would you say, "I think it sucks. It looks lame like you used a how to draw manga book."
