Oh go on then
1) Do you come from a home with a piano?
No. My sister used to have an old Casio keyboard, but she threw it out years ago.
2) Do you play an instrument yourself?
I noodle away on the guitar without any real success. I've written a couple of nice tunes that I'm rather proud of, but it's hardly brilliant.
3) Do you sing in the shower?
All the time.
4) Have you ever dreamt about becoming a musician?
It's more of a fantasy than a dream, since it's not something I'm ever likely to pursue.
5) What does music mean to you?
Music is something you can immerse yourself in, cast aside your worries, and say "This is who I am, and how I feel".
6) How many feet/meters does your music collection take on your shelve(s)?
No idea, but I'll hazard a guess at 6 feet. I don't keep my music on shelves, though.
7) What is your favourite record?
Toughie. At a pinch, I'll go for British Sea Power's The Decline of British Sea Power.
8) What is the most embarrassing record you have in your collection?
I believe I have an old Backstreet Boys cassette somewhere.
9) What song would you pick in a karaoke bar?
Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody.
10) What sing do you connect with your first love?
I don't.
11) What is the perfect music for an erotic night?
Barry White, duh.
12) What do you prefer to listen to on a sunday morning?
I like to listen to upbeat songs when getting dressed. The Strokes' The Modern Age would be a perfect example.
13) What song makes you go to the dancefloor?
The Jackson Five's I Want You Back
14) What is the first song you remember?
No idea, I'm afraid.
15) What song makes you cry?
Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah or Radiohead's Motion Picture Soundtrack
16) What music do you want to be played at your funeral?
Something traditional. I don't like the idea of playing popular music at funerals.
17) Have you ever been to the opera?
No.
18) Have you been on a festival?
Yep, quite a few. And I've got a couple more planned for the summer.
19) What is your best concert experience?
I've had many, many great concert experiences, and it would be impossible to pick out one defining gig.
20) If you were going out on a date with a musician then who would you like it to be?
Kate Moss did some guest vocals for the Babyshambles song La Belle et la Bête. Does she count?
"The most important and recognize player in the history of the country."
Sometimes I wonder what my life would be like if I were as great as Paulo Wanchope.
