Ah, I can do paintings but I cant do the video.
1. I dont have a computer you see, and I just use work's computer to send the pics (they're quite strick with usage and i even have to hide writing these!).
2. I wouldnt have the first clue how.
So should I default?
I am happy to do so - I've had fun, and VW is clearly the best EOFF artist left.
Or to perpetuate the competition, and so Tan isn't disappointed, should someone else take my place (who was in the competition before?)

Yeah I'm sorry about pulling out. I was thinking that maybe I could juggle it with all the things going on, but I really don't want to take that risk and ruin the competition for everyone.

I've got my girlfriend coming up for a couple of weeks, who I haven't seen for a few months. So I'm going to spend every chance I can with her.

Then I'm moving back down to my own city, so that makes it harder...

Kind of a shame, because I had actually studied video editing and audio engineering for a few years, so this would have been a good chance to use that. Oh well.

I wish the best of luck to Mum and ValkyrieWing, and whoever else decides to join them in this final battle. You guys are amazing artists, way better than anything I could ever achieve. Good luck.

I'd be ectstatic for him to come back, so long as he has the time to do it. He has presented the options, however, to Mum and ValkyrieWing for options if he were to rejoin:

As a side note, please ask Mum and VK if they would like this applied to me if I am to be a contestant once more:

A: submit two more pieces than they since I missed two challenges.

B: if I somehow manage first place, have it be that I am penalized for my "skipping" of the other two challenges, meaning that I can be given honorable mention and prestige, but not the shiny title, per se.

C: I can simply not compete again.

So, I think we've got our third contestant :D

Me too! I welcome Nom back, and I'll get on with the paintings and contact you Tan to see if you can string them together later on.

I already have my theme, and the 8 paintings worked out and named. Last night I even drew out 2 of them! I'm very inspired! I also have chosen what music I want the video set to. I hope I'm just as inspired in a couple of months time after they're not turning out how I want..!

Some will be pastels and some will be watercolours this time - I haven't done watercolours since 1999!

I'm very excited to see what Nom and VW do - its going to be great!

I don't expect Nom to submit any additional paintings to be back in the contest, btw. Just pleased hes in still.

As for my theme, think of screws, people, marionettes, and exposed hearts, even some intimate love pieces, all done in the surreal-murky-Nominus style.

It's somewhat macabre. Surprising, I know...

Well, you do have a lot of time for this, so I would just say to slow it down and try and do it gradually. I hope I gave enough time o_o
