Just one person. The whole team aspect comes in to play, though, with the winning team. I average the two averaged scores of one team, and whoever has the highest team average wins, and both of the people from that team move on. The losing team with the lower average has one person eliminated. This is why the whole team aspect is important- if your partner doesn't do well, it'll drag the team's average down.
