I was playing Ouendan during my entire plane ride back from California. At one point we hit some turbulence that lasted for several minutes, but I just adjusted for the added difficulty and kept at it. It was totally hardcore.

    I played my DS once while doing a 180 off a half-pipe.

I wonder if they will implement regular ol' controls into the game. I mean, at this point, it seems that while you control Link, the game is exactly the same except for the controls. To pick things up, instead of pressing A or R, you touch what you want to pick up. And to attack, you touch enemies instead of pressing the Y or B button. The only way I can see using the D-Pad and buttons limiting the game at all (When controlling Link) at this point is that you wouldn't be able to decide to walk or run, but everyone wants to run anyway. Hopefully, they'll include regular controls, for all the people who play games on train's sake.

I think 95% or more of DS owners in Japan play games during train rides. But I wouldn't expect Nintendo to include traditional controls; part of getting people to accept your great new gameplay approach is to force it on them at first, otherwise they'll just play it safe, sticking to what they know and avoiding change.

I hate the fact that you make a good point, Kishi. While I do like how the new control scheme seems, just think of poor 'lil Del Murder.

I got that game on Christmas. I still haven't beat that game. Don't feel bad. It's smurfing hard.

I can't wait for it either. It just adds to the many reasons why I should spend my money on a DS Lite.

Actually, yeah. Skip the PS2 RPGs and get a DS lite :P

The Comfort Stylus is pretty neat. If you have it around your finger snug enough, you won't drop it. It's not perfect for all DS games, but if you have one that makes extensive use of the stylus (this thing is like a dream in Metroid), it's quite good.
