What i did was get a piece of equipment with Auto-Reflect and Ultima kills it in one hit.

Don't really remember fighting him, it was a long time ago, i know i used that strategy- maybe i reflected a different spell, flare possibly. Anyway it works and one hits it so i wasn't complaining.

Get one Dark Knight to use Charon and he's gone in like 1/3 of a turn. I tried it yesterday so it works.
