Reminds me of my sister constantly bugging me and asking me questions when I just want to be left alone. Until I realized, all she wants is to spend time with me; I'm trying to work that out now and I suggest you should try to do the same. It wouldn't hurt to be closer to your family members.

I didn't sound angry, I tried to make him understand that I felt in no mood to talk, hence my responding in a "dry" way.
In this situation, he should just stop whining forever.
