Snoopy: Champion du Monde (Champion of the World)

I borrowed this French Snoopy book from my German teacher and I find it very interesting to see how many words I recognize. I also find the jokes especially more funny because I don't understand it for the first couple of seconds, then my brain processes it and then I laugh =P

Anyways, the topic of this thread is: Have you ever read a book in a different language and do you think it's better in that language or your primary language?

It's fun reading a spanish picture books. I know both english and french so it's easy to decipher a lot of the words. It makes me feel smart.
