I never thought Paine was older than Yuna. I knew Yuna would be the oldest and Rikuu was the youngest in FFX so I assumed she would be the youngest in FFX-2. Paine never seemed that old to me.

Yeah, I did. It was the biggest piece of crap I'd ever seen in my life, but you know what? Unlike all the other newbs who bash FFX-2 for no reason, thinking that it's cool to be like Old Manus and Arucard (and it is, it really is) I can actually name the reasons and detail why it sucked for me. Tavrobel from that summary it was almost like she enjoyed being shot in the back. And she liked shouting a lot. Also if she was emo she would be like "With a slash my wrists here and a slash my wrist there here a slash there a slash everywhere a slash slash"

Getting shot in the spine is never a good thing. From the way she was conducting herself through the game, I wouldn't be surprised if she cut herself. But it's not like they will show you; however, the statement was "don't go emo on me," which means that the person was acknowledged of NOT being emo before being shot, and that they are heading down the path of emo-ness. Does not directly state that the person is classified as EMO.

That's hardly a good enough reason to conclude that Rikku is older.Besides if you played the first game,you would know Yuna is older.

...whatever. Fact is, it seems that in the game, the girls mentality go reward: Yuna and Rikku in FFX were pretty much of intelligent, in FFX-2 they seem to be nothing short of some 7 or 8 years old child. Paine's the most intelligent character I could see there, along with Rin.
