I will say the Shining Force series (excluding anything released in the past few years) is underrated (those may be underrated too, but I personally hate the new ones). Tactical RPGs with easy simple fun, no overly complex and convoluted calculations to determine your attack. You just situate your people and attack. You don't get raped for forgetting a cruicial part of a calculation that has nothing to do with gaming. I hated FFT for that. Differences in males and females and when they were born and what direction they were facing and how high they were standing and gah! Way too much thought put into a simple attack.
