    Default rmvb files :S

    I have some rmvb files on my computer and I want to watch them in windows media player, but it won't let me because of the whole rmvb extension thing. I tried to change it and it went worse so I changed it back, so anyway, how can I make it right, I want to watch scrubs

    Changing a file extension doesn't change the contents of the file. If you make a word document and rename it .xls, it won't become an excel spreadsheet.

    You could try downloading and installing Real Alternative, that makes Windows Media Player, and other directshow media players able to play rmvb files and other realmedia files.

    is it free?? If it is I'll try it tomorrow, my laptop takes like 5 hours to download anything :S Thanks a lot for helping

    It's free, yes. And the file is just a few megabytes. Shouldn't take half an hour even on dialup.

    Ive never tried that program but you should look into VLC, oe CCCP as in Arche's (cl_out for you non-chatters) sig.
