Couples?

Okay in FFX-2 did Gippal liked Rikku? Did they went together? And what about Paine, Baralai, and Nooj? Because in Djose Temple Gippal and Rikku were kinda flirting (I think) and he said something about "couple?" I don't know... so can anybody help me out with this? :) Thanks in advance:)

We actually had a whole discussion on the whole Rikku/Gippal thing not too long ago so it's pretty much already been done to death.

I think Gippal means Rikku and him were together for some time but had a sorta mutual break-up personally, so they're still good buddies.

As for Baralai, Nooj and Paine. Well Paine went with the Gullwings at the end, I've got a feeling she stuck around with them for a while cos ya know it's a little adventure. I mean Baralai and Nooj just went back to the usually running their organisations, even though they're not rivals anymore they're still there.

I always like to think that a few years later Paine left the Gullwings and went and joined the Youth League with Nooj cos then it's like she's working under her Captain and she'd like that cos Nooj and her are like that *crosses fingers*.

In FFX-2 there were Crimson Spheres which were actually required to be found throughout Spira. The Crimson Spheres featured events about this group (called the Crimson Squad) which included Gippal as well. Paine was a recorder for the Crimson Squad and that's how she knows the other three.
