I love this show. The story is actually original and very well-written besides; even the throwaway filler episodes are highly entertaining.

Possibly my favorite anime.
...Although the symbolism has probably been dissected to the point where everything is obvious.
I feel it was one of the best animes ever made. But now I hate reading psychological thrillers because I can never find anything quite as psychologically facsinating as this.
I owe several of my current intrests to this show.
Yeah, I don't think there's any fact involved. But it's still a really great show. THIS is why I'm still pretty interested in anime. Even though I haven't seen the whole thing, and obviously haven't spent enough time with it to understand it yet, it's great. I loved the episode with the three suicidal people.
