Damn, he really destroyed that thing. Everybody died at the end but Magus xD
I know, Magus = <3
Not impressed. The guy obviously used a ROM and save stated like all hell and slow the game down when going through menus to do things lightening fast.
I call shanagans.
Duh, it's a tool-assisted speedrun. It isn't like he cheated or anything, he still cleared the game in little over four hours.
To remind you: Just because you can't do it doesn't mean it isn't possible.
Edit: Here's what the guy who showed it to us on the FFWiki forum said, because I was confused as well:
So there, quite whining.its a tool assisted speedrun, he can put the game in slow motion when needed to write his name in half a second, he can also save the game whenever he want, and resume it a 100 times from that point if he wants to, without us being able to see it on the video.
But that's his point. It kind of takes away the point of a speed run to use a ROM while tool assisting. It's takes FAR more skill to do it on the original cart, or on a ROM using NO assistance.
Four hours...? No thanks...
The Super Mario 64 one was amazing.
Leave some shards under the belly
Lay some grease inside my hand
It's a sentimental jury
And the makings of a good plan
That one used a TON of glitches. I prefer the SMB3 one. That was pure skill
True, I didn't even know half those glitches existed.
Like the Link to the past in 3:25 video.
