It's a Double Edged sword, Gas is not really an optional thing and Satelite is. But Satelite bill collectors are crazier than the gas company, and it would refelct on your credit harder if you didn't pay your satelite because it is an optional service. Gas and Electric companies would work with you until you could pay it because they're nessecities, Satelite would be all "Yeah we want you money, you have none. *cuts off*"

But since there are more than one person in the house, paying satelite isn't really the smart thing to do, 'cause you kind of need to bathe even if your friend doesn't. o o
