I voted for Final Fantasy VI in the poll. I do like most of the soundtracks of the Final Fantasy games, but the one that I like least of all is the Final Fantasy IX soundtrack. It had a few songs that I liked, but less so than other the Final Fantasy games listed in the poll.

IX has my favorit ost out off all the FFs. Everything sounded dramatic and I thought that was a plus. The battle theam is amazing, the boss theam is kinda sub-par, but it's ok non-theless. All of the special battle theams sound cool and The Darkness Messenger is a "We will rock you remix" which you can't go wrong with. the town theams fit every town perfictly and I thought that it was all great.

IX was the best followed by VIII and then VII. I like most of the soundtracks for the games, but IX's really stood out, and it had all sorts of great moments in it.

I found FF10 to be the worst with the exception of the last boss theme and a few others. 6 heck yes, 8 yum, 9 awesome and playful perfect for the game.

I couldn't decide between X and XI. The music in X reminds me of those emotional moments, or just the event... It's kinda nice and nostalgic.

But XI, part of the reason I play the game is because of the atmosphere and the strange areas you come into, the music complimenting the area... (Some music sucks of course, like jeuno and sandoria [hiss])...

But I really love the music in Caedarva Mire and Arrapago Reef ;_;...

FFIX's soundtrack is my favourite videogaming track ever. Practically every track is great...and I mean it. FFVII is my next best. FFX has a few good tracks, and so does FFVIII, but they are nowhere near as good as FFIX.

I don't like it when we have to vote about something that is about all FF's, including I till V, and those FF aren't in teh choice list. But okay, that aside.

FF IX gets my vote. I liked every track in it. But these are the ones I like most: Boss Battle, The Dark Messenger, Final Battle, Melodies of Life, the Memory Place and The Sword of Doubt.

FF III and V come second. Every track in it is great. It's amazing what beautiful tracks the NES could bring up for FF III. And V had some classics as well. Who doesn't like "Battle with Gilgamesh" (Or "Clash on The Big Bridge", it's the same)?

FF VIII comes third. Those Final Boss track are amazing (The Legendary Beast, Maybe I'm a Lion and The Extreme)! The hole OST is good but I don't find every song spectacular, something I had with IX, and with most tracks in V and III, which is why VIII comes third.

How do hi-res graphics improve the sound quality? Music is something you hear, not something you look at. I actually thought FFX's synth quality was quite bad. There's something about its sound that was annoying my ears a lot, even with those FFX songs that I like.

The battle theme of FFVII is called "Fighting" or "Those who fight". The boss battle theme is called "Still more fighting" or "Those who fight further".
