Thread: DOS Games!

    Default DOS Games!

Does anyone remember those really old DOS computer games that came out in like the late 80s, early 90s? For me some of the best games I've ever played were also some of the first. The Monkey Island series was the whole reason I started gaming to begin with. And I loved Willy Beamish and Freddy Pharkas! Does anyone else have any really old favorites?

You mean games Like the Original Transport Tycoon, Dogs, One Must Fall, or countless others?

I luv DOS games. Anyways TTO beats the snot out of many newer games.

STILL Updating the anime list. . . I didn't think I was that much of an anime freak! I don't even want to consider updating the manga list!

My friend used to have so many DOS games on his PC when we were young, so many good memories. /sigh

    Dancing Chocobo Daggerfall

As you can see, the game is full of glitches. Still, Daggerfall is by far my favorite DOS game.

I remember playing the original Transport Tycoon. The disc only recently gave up. I remember playing a mickey mouse game where the sound was beeps made by the machine and there was about 32 colours it could use. (I was 4/5)

OMG those games RULED!!!!!! I loved burning up the scientists and watching them scream. I miss the old Ultima Games too. No rpgs have that level of interaction.
Today's games have nice graphics and sound but miss that addiction of the old DOS games. And there was no ESRB to keep games(devs) from putting whatever they wanted into them.

Willy Beamish was soo much better on SegaCD. Too bad I never had a computer during the golden age of DOS games. Though I have experienced some. Mostly by going retro, though I did have a friend who had a few. Day of the Tenticle was fun. Braindead 13. Torin's Quest. Um...King's Quest. Yeah... Good stuff
