Which Final Fantasy has the best...?

Well, which Final Fantasy has the best opening scene? Either if it is FMV's or whatever.

My favorite opening scene is that opening FMV of VIII. With that song, Rinoa, Squall and Seifer fighting, all those FMV flashes. And I love 'Liberi Fatali' It's very emotional, I think. It also makes you want to play the game immediatly because that FMV makes the game seem so awesome. Yes, in my humble opinion this is the best opening.

So, what FF has the best opening in your opinion?

Yuna's performance of 'real emotion' in x-2's pretty cool. but i think i gotta say X's intro is the coolest. the blitzball game intertwined with the destruction of zanarkand just looks badass!

VIII easily has the best opening fmv. The whole FMV was amazing, and the fighting ebtween Squall and Seifer must be one of my favourite parts.

But as for being a good beginning and drawing the player straight into the game, I liked the way FFVII opned, with the mission to blow up the reactor.

I think FFX-2 had the best opening scene, with the dancing and the awesome song and all, and

Rikku

and Paine beating up security guards. That was so kickass.

The FMV for FFVIII was pretty awesome, but I'm still gonna have to say FFX had my favorite.

It's really hard to choose. VIII, IX, X, and X-2 all had great openers.

Huh, that's funny. I don't recall Final Fantasy 1005. Square Enix must be working overtime. It must be one huge opening scene.
I vote FFVIII, FFIX, and FFX.

...1005? Where'd that come from?

And FFIX's was pretty good too. If I were to vote for third, it'd probably be a tie between that and the PS3 demo remake of VII's

That one was cool, even if it was never really an FF opening.

I love the game of Final Fantasy Tactics, because it have a dramatic story and a lot of strategy, and i love that things!!!

8 hands down, bar none. awesome music, sweeps right into the intrigue, gives bits of hints at the later game. beautiful
