Here are some from Denmark (I'll first write them in Danish, and then what they directly translate into in English):

    - Tarm (Intestine)
    - Lem (Limb)
    - Sæd (Sperm)
    - Esbjerg (Ace Mountain)
    - Næstved (Next to)
    - Ålborg (Eel Castle)
    - Århus (Year House)
    - Støvring (Ring of Dust)
    - Hals (Neck)
    - Skive (Slice)
    - København (Buy a Habour)
    - Vejen (The Road)
    - Middelfart (Medium Speed)
    - Ølgod (Good Beer)
yea well i live in denmark and they have some very strange names.. but i dont not beileve there is such place as SÆD-sperm.. i dont beileve that exsists. I could be wrong... hey wait a minute.. Retards?? i dont think so. The danish lanauge is the second hardest in the world, they names of the towns are not strange to them, cause it does not have the same meaning, its just a name...
There is a town called Sæd (sperm) in Denmark. Well, maybe "retards" is a harsh word to use, but they were certainly not smart about it when they had to name those towns.

Yes, well.......I live in Denmark too & am taking my HGV (Heavy goods vehicle) licence at the moment & a RETARD is an auxiliary braking system, usually mounted on the propshaft of the vehicle!

I`ve never heard of a town called Sæd........but live just down the road from a place called Sædder (Sperms).
Two omissions from the list have got to be Balle (buttock) and Baaring (pronounced Boring!).
By the way.....Lem can mean both Limb AND Penis!

Here´s one that´s not a town name, but funny anyway: Begivenhed (A happening or event!) Quite so........lol
