The Halo series is pretty overrated. Not that it's bad - I've actually found myself quite enjoying playing the first one - but the fanboys seem to joygasm at every bit of news coming out about it. I mean, it's good, but it's not THAT good. Totally overrated.

Yeah, Halo is overrated is hell, but alot fo times overrated doesn't mean bad. I mean Zelda's a tad bit overrated but those games are great.

FF8 - Honestly, there were 6 characters, lame villian, poor weapon system, too much reliance on GFs and a stupid storyline. (theyre all in the same orphanage? oh Pl.ea.se)

FF8 wasn't that bad. Just the cracked battle system. That was gay.

I'd just like to add that you're not playing the game right (Well, Thorn at least. I'm not quite sure what Shout means by "cracked"). You don't have to rely on GF's at all. I'm playing FFVIII right now and I can't remember the last time I summoned a GF. The only way you have to rely on GF's is that you have to equip them and set that little finger on an ability you want. Other than that you just need to learn how to junction properly and you should be fine.

With so many people saying Halo, GTA, and FFN are overrated, it starts to become facile. When enough people start saying that, the game obviously stops being overrated.

Yes I can, but I have played a larger number of MMORPGs than console games, and I have played most games on most consoles starting with NES.
