Why are so many of you questioning the length of the game? It's a shooter. 10 hours (on my first playthrough) is a pretty long shooter actually. It's not an RPG. You can't expect 40 hours of shooting people. That would get boring. Actually, some of the cut-scenes are annoyingly long, so actual game play was probably closer to 7 or 8 hours. And that's how long normal shooters are including cutscenes and whatnot.
Plus, this is Square's first shooter game. You can't expect it to be nearly as major of an accomplishment as VII was. Some of you seem to be expecting massive gameplay time, more expansive environments, overworlds, huge sidequests, etc. This is neither seen nor expected in even some of the best shooters such as Resident Evil (4 was my favorite), so why should we expect it from a company who has never produced shooters before? Just doesn't make much sense to me.
WTF?! Are you s***ing me?! That would have totally ruined the ending! Did you understand nothing about the connection between Omega and Chaos? Did you skip every cutscene or something? Not only would it have ruined Vincent's game, but it would be physically impossible. Only Vincent could have even had a chance at defeating Omega because his body housed the Chaos gene.Originally Posted by cloudbuster7
