Belongs in General Gaming.
Baten Kaitos, Skies of Arcadia, Tale of Symphonia, Phantasy Star Online games, Fire Emblem: Path Of Radiance, and Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door are all the GC RPG's I can think of that are really worth playing. Also keep an eye out for Baten Kaitos Origins, it's not yet though, mind you.

Get Harvest Moon of course. You can abuse your animals and beat up your wife.
Oh, of course! How could one forget Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life, and the new game (that I haven't played yet, but keep in mind) Harvest Moon: Magical Melody. If you liked Harvest Moon, you should give Animal Crossing a shot too, not as much of an RPG as HM (if at all) but they're similar.

But if you want a suggestion from me, I enjoyed Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.
Lost Kingdoms 1 and 2.
2 is ovcourse better.

Phantasy Star Online kicks ass, probably the best RPG on the GC for me!! So I advise you to get that.
This thread needs more Fire Emblem.
You can pass on Lost Kingdoms/Rune 1&2, they're interesting but pretty mediocre when compared to the likes of Paper Mario and Symphonia and Fire Emblem.

Paper Mario 2 is very good. Quite a fun game it is.PSO is an interesting online RPG, but I wouldn't recommend it to a fan of offline RPGs. It's more of a casual Online RPG, even if it DOES consume your life.
PSO has guns.
