Well, how are your characters' stats? There are alot of ways to make money, but it really depends on how well you can fight.

Fight Mimics in the Omega Ruins for 50,000 gil, i think it's 100,000 with Gillionaire equipped. Fifty grand a pop ain't bad though. It's also a good place to get high AP.

Yeah, you get no AP from they are made easy with Caladbolg and Holy. The majority of treasure chests will contain Mimics as well. No AP!

Fight Mimics in the Omega Ruins for 50,000 Gil; 100,000 with Gillionaire. You can also sell the dropped equipment in the Ruins for very high values, and most of them consistently reach ten thousand or more, but there are some equipments that can net you approximately 125,000 Gil.

Since everyone else is firing off ideas anyways, I'll throw in my two cents:

- Buy empty four-slotted armours from Wantz in Macalania Woods - South. Fight Kottos for 80 Healing Springs (2 overkills, 4 normal kills). Cutomize Auto-Regen on each armour, and sell it to any weapons dealer (including the monster arena dude) for about 225k.

-The traditional mimics thing... which I got sick of after I finished capturing there. If you enjoy it though, by all means, it works fine.

-Fight creations in the MA for weapons to sell. Favourites, in ascending order of difficulty, are: One-Eye, Master Tonberry, Fenrir, Earth Eater, Ultima Buster. I STRONGLY suggest One-Eye until you can take down the others quickly. DISCLAIMER: The monsters I listed are by memory, so some may be wrong.. I know One-Eye is definately your best bet though.

To earn go money take some strong characters that you have leveled up and go to the omega ruins. Be advised if you meet a Malabro in the cave and you don't have a poison, beserk, or confusion ward you might die quick because the Malabro always ambushes you when in the omega ruins.

Fight Iron Giants in the Thunder Plains. They sometimes drop SOSRegens, those go for a pretty penny.

if you have the airship got to omega ruins. you get mad gil there. or you can get a weapon with gilionaire.
when you go to omega ruins, make sure your guys are pretty strong because the monsters there are tough.

I've been trying to do the same thing recently. What I've been doing is giving Pilfer Gil or Nab gil ability to as many people as possible and just do it to every monster every battle. The mimic trick is also good. It is quite important to have plenty of gil, since it requires quite a lot to Bribe malboros...
