OK, al-bhed_kid. If you click on a square (and you don't hit a mine) a number will appear (which you already know, of course). That number tells you how many of that squares surrounding squares contain mines. So if you click a square in the middle of the grid, and a 1 pops up, that means that 1 of the 8 surrounding squares contains a mine, and the other 7 are safe. A 2= 2 mines, etc. Now if a "2" has only two un-clicked squares around it, then both of those must be mines. Maybe that will get you started... (...I suck at giving explanations)
