Remember, no matter HOW careful your planning is, you can get completely screwed over by the handicaps. Break accessory, 1/2 HP and MP a couple of times, or break all materia can all do horrible, horrible things to you. The solution? Be ready with items, and just pray you don't lose the use of materia AND the use of items in the same run.
