btw, you should have named your thread "Eureka! It's a signiture!" A pun if you will .


Edit- Also if you want to use it here you will either have to shrink the image size, or else save it as a gif to try and decrease the size, if I am right it is currently a png-24 yes? png-8 is also a viable way to save on file size[actually png-8 is smaller then gif so save it as png-8 if you can... if it is already png-8.... how did you make it so big?]

Not really, or at least not in my experience. This board has the smallest file size limit of all of them.... as for widthxheight most of them that have a smaller limit are close enough that the size change wouldn't hurt the banner much.

As to the file size, due to how the transparency is used saving as png-8 or gif wouldn't hurt it much(if at all) and it would pull it within size limit(I had a 130k png-24 that shrank to 56k(or something like that) purely by saving it as png-8 or gif).


Also in case you don't know Eureka, the best way to save as png-8 is to use the "save for web" option. I find that the best way to save my sigs(gives previews of different types if you wish so you can compare before you save(also shows how big it will be etc).

Personally I prefer v1. You shouldnt over bend it.
