what was the best resident evil in your opinion

here is what i think was the best

1. RE4
2.RE2
3.RE3
4.RE OUTBREAK

Outbreak was a travesty. I couldn't stand that game for more than 15 minutes.

RE:2 was the scariest, but RE:3 was the most fun so far.

RE:4 was tragically overrated; it was a decent game, but wasn't scary at all.

RE:4 is good but it moved away from the survival horror genre. I hated the regenerators and the way they breathed. I'm glad there wasn't many of them.

RE:2 is good and so is RE:3.

Best to worst. I enjoyed everyone very much though, so there's not much separating them. I did like CVX very much, but somehow it ended up near the bottom. I guess I just like the others better.

I've only played REmake and RE 4. I didn't like the style of REmake (so I didn't bother to try the other games) and I haven't played much of RE 4 yet. I bought it at the same time that I bought MGS3: Subsistence, so I'm going to finish that first.

I've only played Resident Evil 1 and 2. Hopefully I will get RE 4 soon. Out of those 2 I liked 1 better. The humor was great in that game...
